El Pontificio Instituto Oriental (PIO) tiene entre sus Ediciones “Orientalia Christiana” dos publicaciones:Orientalia Christiana Analecta (OCA) y Orientalia Christiana Periodica (OCP)
La revista Orientalia Christiana Periodica (Commentarii de re orientali Aetatis Christianae sacra et profana) nació el año 1935 y los dos fascículos publicados cada año contienen los artículos, notas breves y recensiones sobre el Oriente Cristiano en relación con la teología, la historia, la patrología, la liturgia, la arqueología y el derecho canónico oriental; en la actualidad su director es el Padre Vincenzo Poggi, SI.
